the worst tape machine you've ever heard....
Many plugins are designed to show the nice warm side of tape. Particulate was designed to show the weird, distorted, warbly side of tape.
Imagine the nightmare sound of your favourite mix tape being stretched and distorted in your mid eighties hot hatch ( so I’ve been told )
WHY HAVE YOU MADE THIS???
Plugins are getting very similar. I’m making new sounds by stitching different effects together and seeing what will happen. Then see if I can sell them……

HOW WAS IT MADE?
It started off as a MATLAB prototype while I developed the DSP. It was in the prototype stage for WAYYYY too long as I was procrastinating learning JUCE 
.
So it was then time to start the process of learning JUCE at the same time as trying to port a plugin … resulting in the best GitHub commit history I’ve ever seen. (ignore the failing pipeline stuff 
)
Oh yea and I had to figure out how to design a working UI after just getting MATLAB to do it for me for years.
So uh – turns out Figma is very cool – would recommend.
And after all that (many brownies made and days of contemplating my life decisions), we get to the end of my tale.
